Don's story

Don and his family went through kind of the same thing. Don's dad died and his uncle and mother was waiting on the check to come. The the check his uncle invested in a drug deal and got took and his uncle died. The mother got insurance money for the uncle and she a car and a house. Don did not like what she did so he sold the car and she sent him to the jail house. Don got out. He moved back in with his mother in the house she bought. He started drinking, he was drunk from sun up to sun down. That just like when Walter was mad at his mother when she didn't give him the money, he became a drunk.

My life

My dreams is to become a funeral director and take over Jackson Funeral home. Apart of my dream is to open funeral homes around the world. I would open a main funeral home in Atlanta, Georgia. I would live there and have someone work at my funeral homes. During the day I would be doing business until I get a call to pick up someones body. I would try to hire my family to work for me first before I start hiring other people. When my dreams start to come true then I would start having children. I would be happy when my dreams do come true. When a persons dream comes true you have no choice but to be happy. You would have the perfect family and things are going just as you imagined .

The American dream

1. In the first article, people who want the rich to pay a greater share of the nation's taxes or people who want to cut entitlements such as Social Security and Medicare. In the Second article it states, "What do you do for a living?" Try to make money .They're different because article 1 describes what are people fighting with how money/taxes are being changed, article 2 describes what are people living.

2. The fight between President Barack Obama and Republicans over raising the debt ceiling has escalated into more than a fight over the budget and taxes. The second author uses a qoute, "greed is good".

3. I think author 1 is the most trustworthy, I feel because I have a better understanding of article 1.

4. I agree with author one the most because the american dream should be about equality. everyone should be treated farely. it was something similar to what i wrote in my journal about freedom and equality.

5. The 1st article techinique worked best because i felt that it gave me more information and understanding of what the article meant.
